Advanced EMG Biofeedback - Quick flicks
Select the ‘Advanced EMG Biofeedback’ exercise from the ‘Neurological’ group.
You can add information such as the patient’s position and the muscle being tested. Then select the EMG channel (the connected one will be highlighted in blue) and the “Quick flicks” exercise.
Perform EMG calibration: press the “Start” button. Ask the patient to contract and then relax the muscle. Press the “Stop” button. After the initial relaxation, a gray box will appear indicating the active phase. The patient will receive audio and visual information to contract the muscle. He must perform a series of contractions and maintain them during the active phase. The patient only contracts the muscle, without moving the joint. The extension remains motionless during the exercise.
After a longer break between contractions, the second phase occurs, with a series of shorter contractions. The last phase requires the patient to perform very short contractions, with short breaks.
After completing the exercise, it is possible to analyze it as a whole and its individual sections.
