Adjusting the lengt of the arm and forearm to the extension
To fit the extension to the patient’s upper limb, you can take the measurements of arm and forearm.
The arm length should be measured:
- from the greater tubercle of the humerus
- to the lateral epicondyle of the humerus
The forearm length should be measured:
- from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus
- to the styloid process of the ulna
Set the obtained lengths in a 1:1 ratio on the centimeter rulers for the arm and forearm parts of the shoulder therapy extension before placing the patient’s limb on it.
